Privacy
This setup page (comfy-setup.lugia19.com) creates Comfy-Gen in your own Cloudflare account, or moves a Comfy-Gen made from a GitHub copy over to this setup. It is run by the author of Comfy-Gen, lugia19.
What it gets, and what it does with it
- When you click Connect Cloudflare and allow it, Cloudflare gives this page access to your account: creating and updating Workers and R2 storage, and reading the account's name.
- It uses that access once: to create your Worker, its storage and its address, in your account (or, for a move, to install the latest version over your existing Worker, keeping its storage and settings).
- It then hands the access to your new Worker, which keeps it in your account and uses it to install Comfy-Gen's updates. This page keeps no copy. Until your Worker is created, the access waits in a cookie in your browser, encrypted, for at most 50 minutes.
- It stores nothing about you and uses no analytics. Cloudflare, which runs it, keeps its usual request logs.
Modal
When you click Connect Modal on your Worker's page, your Worker sets up and updates Comfy-Gen in your Modal account itself. Workers can't speak Modal's API directly, so those calls go through a relay run by the same author (grpc.lugia19.com, on Cloudflare and Google Cloud). The relay passes them through unchanged and stores nothing; like any call to Modal, they carry your Modal token. Only setup and update calls go this way: your prompts and images go straight from your Worker to your Modal account, never through the relay.
Taking it back
In Cloudflare, under Manage Account → Connected applications (or your profile's access settings), you can revoke Comfy-Gen's access at any time. Your Worker then stops updating itself until you reconnect it from its page. Deleting the Worker deletes everything it stored. Modal's token can be deleted in Modal's settings, under API tokens.
